Medical Aid rate based on principal member only)- To be confirmed- Advert Closing Date- 20/10/2024- Job PurposeThe objective is to fill the position of Accounting lecturer in the Department of Senior Phase and FET with a staff member with expertise in this area.
- Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience- A relevant Master's degree.
- A relevant teaching qualification (preferable at secondary school level)
- Two (2) relevant lecturing experience in SP & FET at tertiary level or five (5) years' relevant teaching experience at school level
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans - B.Ed tuition on the Wellington campus is in Afrikaans
- Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities- Teaching Accounting in the SP & FET department
- Curriculum development and other learning materials
- Supervising students on teaching practice
- Conducting and promoting research in the department/faculty (including publications and supervision)

- Adequate content and pedagogical content knowledge

- Mentoring and support of students (and staff)
