We are expanding our team and seeking a talented Marketing Executive to join us remotely, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- **Role Overview**:_

As a Creative Social Media Executive at The Baby Academy you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of a fast-growing start-up. Working closely with the Director of Social, you will contribute to the growth and success of our brand by creating engaging and innovative content that resonates with our audience across various social media platforms.
- **Responsibility**:_
- Work alongside the Director of Social Media, and Head of Creative to execute our marketing strategy.
- Full ownership of social media Instagram and Facebook reel & story creation, ensuring engaging and compelling content is delivered to our audience.
- Support the team by managing various marketing administrative tasks, such as content scheduling using the Sprout Social platform, DM management and other such tasks.
- Assist in the analysis and reporting of marketing campaigns, providing insights on performance, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Contribute to overall brand awareness and engagement by actively participating in brainstorming sessions, sharing innovative ideas, and implementing creative marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices, ensuring our marketing efforts remain competitive and innovative.
- **Requirements**:_
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably with exposure to social media.
- Proven ability to create engaging social media Instagram and Facebook reels & stories
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle various marketing administrative tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- A dual creative/analytical mindset. There is a deep need for a creative flare whilst also requiring an analytical mindset, comfortable utilising data and metrics to evaluate marketing campaign performance and make informed recommendations.
- Basic design skills preferred (Good knowledge of Canva)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
- A passion for the parenting industry and a genuine interest in the educational needs of parents.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
- **Salary and Benefits**:_
- Monthly salary: 14,000 Rand.
- Fully remote position, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

- **Working Hours**:_
- Monday to Friday: 9am-6pm South African Time
