Our client, a well-known packaging company in the Overberg is seeking to employ an experienced IT Technician to join their team.
**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Diagnose computer problems
- Monitor computer processing systems
- Install software and perform tests on computer equipment and programs
- Set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and teach clients to use programs
- Offer remote support from an office or perform hands-on work at the work site
- Help get software, hardware and operating systems installed andconfigured
- Provide support when problems occur
**Skills and Competencies required**
- Troubleshooting
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service skills
- Experience in a corporate environment would be an added advantage
**Minimum qualifications and Experience**
- A+ and N+
- MCSA
- Virtualization
- Cloud
- VoIP
- MS Active Directory
- SAN
- Firewall
- Networking experience
- 4 - 5 Years of experience working as an IT technician
- Code 08 or higher driver’s license
