**An exciting opportunity has become available in our Maintenance department at Prestige Epping for 2 x Sewing machine Mechanics**

**As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for**:

- Repair and maintain a range of industrial sewing machines allied sewing equipment
- Set up and test run a range of industrial sewing machines allied sewing equipment
- Keep maintenance records and update maintenance reports
- Conduct running maintenance
- Assist and coach learner mechanics
- Maintain and collect technical data for machinery and equipment
- Adhere and manage preventative maintenance program on minor and major tasks
- Folder repair
- Assist with other tasks within the maintenance department

**Requirements to apply**:

- +/- 3-4 years’ experience in Industrial Sewing machine maintenance in clothing production environment
- NQF4 Qualification in repairs and maintenance sewing machine or equivalent qualification
- Have the ability to work in a team and additional hours as requested
- Must be able to work in a pressurised environment
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must have a target driven and quick turnaround approach
