Logistics Co-ordinator

**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have completed a National Senior Certificate
- A tertiary qualification would be preferred
- Strong management / supervisor skills will be required
- Must be computer literate and ERP system experience will be highly recommended
- Knowledge of Health and Safety compliances is essential
- Providing high level communication with agents and clients with regards to product availability and planned deliveries.
- Communicating with the Plant manager with regards to scheduling loads for production.
- Managing of order bank and accurate reporting with regards to open orders as well as new orders.
- Ensuring all dispatches are planned, scheduled, and executed to maintain client service levels.
- Always ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicating as required with internal and external customers any information as required on any aspect of the business.
- Ensuring to be customer service orientated and focused.
- Providing support to the plant manager when required.
- Managing customer service with regards to walk-in clients and executing services
- Addressing issues or concerns related to pricing, availability, credits, damages, pick-up, and deliveries.
