Our Client, is looking for an experienced Factory Manager to join their team based in the Greytown area.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
Planning, organizing, formulating, directing and controlling the production activities.
Manage factory budgets, fixed and variable costs, capex, maintenance, and abnormal maintenance.
Review overall factory performance and implement and maintain operational strategies.
Ensure that maintenance is efficiently carried out and new projects are undertaken for uninterrupted, safe and optimal production, and the safety of employees.
Ensure effective performance of subordinates and teams.
Ensure that production and safety standards are in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Comply with the requirements of ISO and Quality management Systems.
**Desired Experience & Qualification**
Relevant tertiary qualification.
A Project Management qualification would be advantageous.
At least 6 years experience in an industrial process plant, including knowledge of boiler operations.
At least 3 years’ experience in a management role / supervisory role.
At least 3 years’ experience in safety management and quality control systems.
Knowledge and expertise in respect of OHS Act AND regulations.
Knowledge and expertise in respect labour legislation, and disciplinary enquiries.
Computer proficiency using MS Office suite.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to communicate in isiZulu is advantageous
