A leading distributor of Industrial Fasteners. We offer a fastener solution to numerous industries throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Telesales Consultant who will be responsible for:
- Promoting, selling and securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
- Assisting the Sales Team to keep abreast of market trends and influences.
- Managing the accounts of existing customers through excellent relationships and a clear sense of goals and priorities
- Assist the Branch Manager and Sales Team with administrative and planning tasks such as Inventory Procurement, Order follow-ups and credit returns administration.
- Participation and coordination of the Sales and Operations Planning tasks of the Branch by use of the Business Intelligence system and Customer Relationship Management program.
- Acting as a backup for the Branch Manager in the instances where he is out of office.
**Key Performance Areas**
**- Execute existing Sales Strategies that are in line with the business plans**:
**o Show a keen interest in growing markets, generating leads, targeting new customers and expanding market share.**
**o Develop and maintain existing customer base and maintain data in our CRM-system.**
**- Increase brand market share and grow turnover through regular one-on-one and telephonic contact with customers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.**
**- Prepare and follow-up quotations, process orders and address enquiries from customers.**
**- Be pro-active, liaise with internal stakeholders regarding delivery dates and stock procurement to ensure service excellence.**
**- Evaluate market, provide feedback to management.**
**- Ability to meet non-negotiable deadlines and sales targets.**
- **Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.**
**- Must be able to work independently and within a team**
**- Ability to relate to people at all levels in an organization**
**- Proven ability to get things done quickly, strong work ethic and ability to deliver within a pressurized environment**
**- Must have excellent MS Office skills**
**- Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable**
**- Strong attention to detail and accuracy**
**Minimum qualifications**
- Clear criminal record
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North End, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Marketing and sales: 3 years (preferred)
