FINANCE CAMA Analyst

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Honours Degree (e.g.

Mathematical/Statistical/Engineering Sciences).
- At least 2 years’ experience in statistical analysis and

modelling
- Computer literacy (Microsoft & Statistical Packages e.g.

SPSS/R)
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal

(CAMA) methodologies and local government

valuation processes will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of GIS/Spatial Analysis will be an added

advantage

Key Performance Areas
- Analysis of property data to ensure consistency and

accuracy
- Analysis of sales data to determine market trends
- Application of ratio studies in testing valuation models
- Application of Spatial Analysis in mass appraisal
- Developing, calibrating, testing and review of CAMA

models in accordance to international standards.
- Application of CAMA models to generate property

values
- Conducting research in the field of mass appraisal
- Providing CAMA support to both internal and external

customers
- Generating reports relating to models, assessment

performance and data analysis.
