The Fitness instructor will facilitate physical and mental well-being in patients through a planned physical exercise routine and programme in keeping with the patients’ physical profiles and risks.

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- High school matric
- Accredited Fitness instructor qualification
- 1+ year experience as a fitness instructor

**Minimum Job Requirements**:

- Supporting the development and delivery of the fitness programme
- Assisting patients in achieving individual fitness goals
- Ensuring safety of patients during the fitness sessions
- Motivating patients to reach their fitness goals
- Provide group sessions both in DOH section and in the Wellness center
- Participate in combined MDT events and sporting activities
- Responsible for care and upkeep of fitness equipment and gym areas
- Updating of inventory for fitness equipment and gym area
- Ensuring that gym equipment is safe to use
- Assist in maintaining and improving the goals of the organization
- Liaise with the dietitian and medical doctor to modify plans according to the patient’s needs, potential injuries and health issues
- Completion of clinical records based on operational tool implemented at the organization
- Tracking of patient’s progress based on clinical data recorded
