Conveyancing Secretary

Responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Liaising with clients
Preparing and maintaining files accurately according to specifications
Drafting loan and bond documents for various financial institutions
Drafting transfer and supporting documents for residential property transfers, commercial property transfers
Attending to arrange meetings with clients and signature of transfer and bond documents (excluding affidavits)
General office administration duties
Liaising with clients and attorneys
Liaising with the banks and deeds office
Typing of legal documentation
Dealing with client’s queries
Assisting the senior conveyancing secretaries with administrative function including but not limited to compiling transfer documents
Follow up on signature of transfer documents
Attend to deliveries of deeds and transfer documents
General conveyancing secretary duties
**Education**:
Matric Certificate
Paralegal Diploma in Conveyancing or completion of conveyancing course
2-3 Years of experience as a Conveyancing Secretary
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & solid knowledge of Lexis Convey
Experience in Property Development Conveyancing will be adv.
Must be fluent in English & Afrikaans
Own reliable transport with a valid driver’s license
**Skills**:
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) with good communication and interpersonal skills (public relations)
Telephone Etiquette
Office Administration skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Fast and accurate typing essential
Customer service attitude
Self-motivated and results driven
Professional personal presentation
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure
Must be someone who is bubbly, humorous and pleasant
**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
