**Store Manager (Retail Store) - Spar SaveMor in Goodwood**

The Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the retail outlet, in line with operational standards and within the corporate governance protocols in support of the company.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**
- Manage Store targets and profitability of all departments within the supermarket.
- MANAGE STOCK
- PRICING & PROMOTIONS
- HYGIENE & HOUSE KEEPING
- MANAGE STAFF
- CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS
- OPEN & CLOSING OF THE STORE

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Management skills
- Communication skills
- Negotiating skills
- Coaching skills
- Extensive FMCG knowledge on market trends, Retail, product knowledge, stock ordering, cold chain management, sanitation management, Human resources management, general management, and a full understanding of legislation for food handling.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of people.
- Customer service
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
- Previous Butchery Management experience and added advantage
- Own transport
- Prepared to work on weekends
