Role Overview: As an Enterprise and Supplier Development Specialist and Coach, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's mission to support and mentor entrepreneurs while driving supplier network growth. You will be responsible for providing guidance, training, and mentorship to partner organizations, suppliers, and business owners to enhance their capabilities and foster sustainable growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our stakeholders become funding ready and building strong, compliant businesses that can participate in the formal economy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and assess potential partner organizations and entrepreneurs for enterprise development programs.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the suitability of enterprises for support and provide guidance accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance partner organizations' business planning, strategy development, financial management, and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate access to funding, grants, and resources to support enterprise development initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to identify suppliers for development and capacity-building programs.
- Deliver training programs and provide ongoing coaching to suppliers in areas such as quality management, supply chain optimization, and compliance.
- Support entrepreneurs and business owners through one-on-one coaching and mentorship, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of supported enterprises and suppliers, providing feedback and guidance as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience and expertise in enterprise and supplier development, business coaching, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of business principles and practices, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations related to enterprise and supplier development.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parkview, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Honours (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business Coaching: 2 years (preferred)
- Business: 2 years (preferred)
