**Your day at NTT DATA**

This role is responsible for developing structured data sets that can be reused or complimented by other data sets and reports.

This role analyzes the data sources and data structure and designs and develops data models to support the analytics requirements of the business which includes management / operational / predictive / data science capabilities.

**What you'll be doing**

The IT Data Specialist applies data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques based on a detailed understanding of business processes to establish, modify or maintain internal data structures and associated components (entity, relationship and attribute descriptions). They develop and maintain of a formal description of the internal data and data structures of the business and this can include data definitions, data models, data flow diagrams relating to the ITSM (Service Now) System Data.

**The IT Data specialist will focus on the following core areas**:

- Data Quality Management
- Data Governance (Maintain Data Standards)
- Data Onboarding/Client Transitions
- Data Queries
- Automation Enablement

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Optimise Data Management processes through identifying Automation opportunities
- Ensure that all enhancements adhere to Data Governance Framework
- Drive service improvement initiatives to implementation
- Work closely with your business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making
- Drive implementation and adoption of Digital Strategy
- Attend to requests received from the business within the agreed timeframes

**Education, Training and Experience**:

- High School Certification
- ITIL V3/4 Foundation Certification
- Analysis/informatics and business outcomes research within a fast-paced and complex business setting.
- Experience working in probability and statistics, time-series analysis as well as experience in the use of machine learning methods, for example, linear regression, correlation, statistical significance.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role working on Service Now.
- Experience with using dashboards for Data Visualisation & Reporting
