Experienced Principal for Daycare

Reputable Daycare in Boston, Bellville is seeking to employ an experienced Principal to Join its team.
- **ONLY Experienced ECD principals need apply.**

**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for collaborating with our team of teachers and administrators who share your love of education and children.

General supervision of children and classrooms

Be able to assess children’s needs and development.

Work closely with the supervisor on administrative and management duties.

Work with the lead teacher to facilitate weekly curriculum theme planning (weekly planning experience as per the ECD curriculum is a must).

Be aware and able to follow licencing regulations related to childcare.

First Aid Certificate required.
- speak Afrikaans and English fluently
- position for applicant between 40 and 50 years of age
- be computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- has leadership qualities
- be able to take charge for long periods when Owner is absent
- be able to communicate and negotiate with parents
- be able to manage staff members
- has confidence and the experience to resolve all matters that form part of the management of a day care

Have experience in planning annual school concerts.
- must be able to work independently
- has a passion for teaching and a sincere love for children
- be a South African citizen
- be able to work as part of an experienced team
- has an excellent health record
- has contactable references
- has own transport with at least a code 8 driver's license
- be 100% trustworthy
- be competent with administrative duties
- Working hours: 8am - 5pm
- Contactable references a must.

**Experience**:

- At least 5 year's experience as an ECD principal (required)

License/Certification:

- N6 (required)
