**Junior Mechanic**

We are a car rental company based in Johannesburg looking for a Junior Mechanic to work in our offices based in Halfway House, Midrand. We offer long-term rental solutions to our clients (Corporate & Individuals). We are looking for a junior mechanic who has hands on experience of maintaining small vehicles.

**Responsibilities**
- Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Ensure the conform to all maintenance and service procedures.
- Have junior workshop experience.
- Be able to do basic maintenance on vehicles.
- Basic understanding of mechanics and panel beating.
- Manage, control, follow up, and resolve all parts and inventory customer requests and complaints.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. replacing tall light bulb)
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified mechanic/ vehicle technician
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of vehicles
- Diligence.
- Excellent communication skills

**Salary**

Market related salary

**Salary**: R72,120.69 - R96,171.75 per year
