Game Ranger

We are looking to recruit Rangers at one of our Lodges. This is a superb position to kick start your career._

**_ Key performance duties (KPA’s)_**
- Educate guests about nature’s eco
- systems, large and microscopic, whilst, instilling an intense appreciation for nature and conservation ethics.
- Walk and/or drive guests whilst explaining and interpreting all the various elements of nature and wildlife around them.

- _Entry level to 6 months experience in a similar position with a solid track record in the hospitality industry will be beneficial._
- _FGASA level 1 or equivalent_
- _Able to problem solve and be a forward thinker._
- _Compassionate and caring individual._
- _Proud of accomplishments and driven to achieve._
- _Must be customer service orientated with excellent people skills._
- _Must have effective communication skills in English (Verbal and written)_
- _Knowledge of Afrikaans is (Verbal and written) beneficial._
- _Should be flexible and willing to help and learn in other areas of the business, multi-tasking role._
- _Presenting of Kids Club_
- _When no guests, maintenance duties and bush clearance_
- _Porter duties and vehicles services_
- _Transport duties_
- _Weekly activity and vehicle checks and orders_
- _Member of Eco team and or Fire and Evacuation Squad_
- _Must be able to prioritize and manage tasks independently and work within a multicultural team._
- _Needs to be a Team player._
- Accommodation_ is provided. _
- Must be Presentable, friendly, and outgoing personality._
- Own transport and license essential_

- 12 days on 3 days off, twice per month or 24 days on 6 days off, once per month, this depends on the needs of the lodge. Accommodation live-in, room with bathroom. No outdoor pets, however indoor pets allowed._
