- Actively participate in estimating activities, read and understand tender documents, compile bill of quantities, calculate costs, calculate project cycles and complete tenders on CCS
- Compile cash flow forecasts
- Compile programs and schedules on Excel and MS Projects
- Analyse tender schedules, calendars and task links
- Analyse working times, cycle manning and productivities
- Work in a team for selection of equipment and to establish productivities and mining methods
- Timeously obtain prices from suppliers to compile a tender
- Maintain data integrity and file documentation in line with audit procedures
- Build sound relationships with team members and cross -functional teams to ensure knowledge transfer and lessons learnt
- Understand and comply with M&RC's standards, procedures, policies and safety protocols
- Proactive risk, identification and mitigation
- Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives

**Minimum requirements**
- Degree/Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Mining, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering
- Proficient in MS Office [MS Projects advantageous; Excel essential]
- Exposure to CCS [Construction Computer Software] advantageous
- Motivated self-starter with a proactive solution-driven approach
- Financial acumen skills with ability to do complex calculations
- Ability to build schedules and calendars within schedules
- Analytical with attention to detail
- Good planning, organizing and interpersonal skills
- Unwavering confidentiality and discretion
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Medically fit to visit sites
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a mining production environment or similar built environment (advantageous)
- Knowledge of mining methods, including shaft sinking, raise drilling, mechanized development and toll mining
