MHR is looking for experienced **Basic Ambulance Assistants (BAA/BLS) **to** **work **part-time shifts** **(EVENTS and OPERATIONS)** in **Brits** in **North West **Province.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Basic Life Support Practitioner qualification is essential
- Professional registration with the HPCSA as a BAA/BLS
- A valid drivers’ license and valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)_ (Requirement for Operations shifts. If only going to work events, no PrDP required)_
- A minimum of 6 months BLS road experience
- Knowledge of the EMS environment
- Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
- Upholds high ethical and professional standards
- Follows instructions and adheres to procedures
- Works accurately and thoroughly by attending to detail
- Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
- Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
- Strives to identify and deliver on clients' needs and a continued focus on the client experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensures operational readiness for emergency calls
- Administers patient care in line with the BAA/BLS scope of practice
