Well known Airconditioning Company in Helderberg that specializes in air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration in the commercial, residential and industrial industries are in need of a Service & Repair Manager that will manage all aspects of the Service and Repairs department. You will be responsible for the SLA’s as well as directly managing repairs and high priority sites / clients.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations
Managing a team of technicians
Ensuring quality control and safety standards
Coordinating maintenance schedules
Optimizing workshop efficiency
Resource planning
Maintenance Strategy Management
System management
Ensure Technicians understand job specifications and timeframes for the job
Sign off Works and Repair Orders as complete and complete quality checks on jobs prior to jobs being released to customer
Providing instructions on carrying out diagnostic work and supporting technicians
Providing advice and support to technicians on technical matters
Coordinating and following up Warranty Claims
Coordinating and ensuring that Service Bulletins are completed and signed off
Carrying out fault diagnosis for speedy machine pre-delivery Inspections, load testing, and servicing
Co-operating in machine care and safety whilst working on machines
Ensuring diagnosis leads to the most cost-effective and accurate remedy to fault or customer complaint
Completing forms and documentation included in the company's service routine
Custodian of all machine Service and Parts Manuals
Drafting and preparing any reports required
Addressing and coordinating subordinates’ training requirements and development
Ensuring effective communication with staff, across departments, customers, and service providers

Tertiary Qualification will be adv.
In-depth knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
Familiarity with various air-conditioning brands and models
Understanding of troubleshooting and repair techniques
4 to 6 Years’ experience in a similar role
Computer Literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: R38 000,00 - R42 000,00 per month
