Sales and Implementation Consultant

Our client, a managed care organisation based in Pretoria is looking for a Medscheme Sales and Implementation Consultant. This is an equal opportunity organisation with various businesses and/ or subsidiaries that service clients in the medical scheme and insurance industries. Position: Sales and Implementation Consultant Reporting to: Head of Sales and Distribution Location: Head Office, Pretoria Contract Type: 8.5 Hours, 42 hours a week, Full Time Employee
**Purpose of the position**:To assist to grow and retain existing business by ensuring implementation of sales objectives and internal processes are effectively implemented. Driving new business deals as part of the sales team.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Assist to grow business through execution and implementation processes.
- Conduct presentations to prospective clients.
- Present product offering and signing up all prospective members at existing clients.
- Assisting with implementation and orientation of new clients.
- Streamlined and efficient handover for After sales support to Key Account Managers.
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned key accounts.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management. resources, to meet account performance objective and member expectations.
- Driving new business and retaining existing business.
- Support Key Accounts in Coordinating and managing all activities within the assigned clients.
**Skills and Competencies Required**:
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Power point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Administration Skills
- Sales background (Advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to manage high levels of pressure and demands
- Time management
- Travel as and when required, even at short notice.
- Work after hours as and when required.
- Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc requests from Management as and when required.
**Minimum Required Qualifications**:
- Essential qualifications: Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Desirable qualifications: Post matric studies/qualification will be an advantage
**Minimum Required Experience**:
- Essential Experience: 2 years’ experience in a new business and sales environment with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- 5 years in the Medical Aid Industry
**Salary**: R29 000,00 per month
License/Certification:
- Nursing Council registration (required)
Ability to Commute:
- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Relocate before starting work (required)
