Our client is an established market participant, providing a comprehensive range of business services to diverse industries, including but not limited to agriculture, water testing, food, chemical, and financial sectors.

**_Qualifications; _**
- Matric
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry

**_Requirements; _**
- 2 - 3 years proven working experience as a Laboratory Analyst.

**_Required skills and competencies: _**
- Knowledge of ISO17025:2017
- Must have 2 to 3 years’ experience working with HPLC-UV/DAD and GC-FID.
- Good organizational and record keeping skills
- Good communication (written and verbal) with report writing and document reviewing skills
- Must be able to work within a multicultural team.
- Ability to maintain self-control and work efficiently under pressure.

**_Main job tasks and responsibilities; _**
- Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained in the laboratories and offices.
- Responsible for ensuring correct receipt and registration of test items
- Ensure that daily monitoring of cylinder pressures and ordering gasses required for continuous operation

of laboratory activities in conjunction with the relevant Technical Manager.
- Recording data accurately and promptly and in compliance with Quality Management system and taking

responsibility of the quality of the data generated.
- Prioritising projects and studies by integrating and co-ordinating operations to provide a comprehensive

service to all customers.
- Ensure that test and reference items are appropriately characterised, stored and disposed of.
- Participate and assist with assessments by external bodies to evaluate the Quality Management System
- Receiving of stock arriving in the laboratory, checking the completeness of the orders.
- Ensure that all health & safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure that all waste disposal policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to.
