**Responsibilities**: To plan, compile and facilitate regional network master plans, emphasizing the integration of access and core technologies and the provisioning of an end to end solution. 1. Planned Network Design 2. Maintained Plans 3. Provided Consultancy Services 4. Provided Network Support 5. Presented Information 6. Implemented Methods & Procedures 7. Compiled Regional Masterplan 8. Compiled High Level Capital Budget 9. Conducted Feasibility Study (Please, see attached JD)
**Required Certification**: None.

**Qualifications**: Grade 12 with relevant modular training (NQF level 4)
**Experience**: 5 Years' experience, preferably in a network engineering environment
**Special Requirements**: Valid driver's license; Be prepared to work overtime; Be prepared to work away from home for short periods of time (rural sections); Must not be colour blind.
**Comments**:
Experience in the Master Planning and Capacity Management environement is essential. Knowledge of Inside Plant Technologies e.g DSLAM, IMAX, ISAM would be advantageous.
