Clinical Facilitator Critical Care

Requirements:

- Postgraduate Diploma in Critical Care qualification registered with SANC
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education qualification registered with SANC
- Master-s degree will be advantageous
- Driver-s Licence/own transport
- Must have at least 5 years relevant clinical experience
- Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC
- Nursing Education and/or Assessor ship qualification as a recommendation
- Previous experience as an educator / facilitator / mentor would be advantageous

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the facilitation of teaching and learning of the theoretical and clinical component in a clinical setting
- Form part of the Critical care team with the primary focus of bed side teaching through demonstration, job shadowing, role modelling mentoring and guidance-s at the bedside of all processes
- The integration

and mitigation of risk management at the bedside will be a primary objective to reduce risk to the group and improve patient outcomes
- Provide services for both the in
- Ervice and formal clinical training programs through the coordination of learning opportunities, at both the formal and informal level.
- Support evidence
- Ased practice by encouraging participation in research.
- The clinical facilitator will play an integral role in upskilling staff to use equipment, ethical and consumables safely in accordance with the manufacture-s guidelines
