Senior Process Controlller Sludgle Treatment

**Job Advert Summary**:
Rand Water is looking for a Senior Process Controller - Sludge Treatment to carry out functions related to sludge handling, plant operations and maintenance, in order for the Process Control Supervisor - Sludge Handling to be able to effectively manage the sludge treatment plant.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with Maths and Science or Water and Waste Water NQF level 3
- 1 year basic working experience preferably in the laboratory
- 3 years’ working experience in a water industry
- Computer literacy
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to pass Rand Water’s driver test

**Primary Duties**:

- Conducting sampling
- Prepare sample for analysis
- Inspect plant
- Calibrate Lab equipment as per calibration and standardize solutions or re-agents
- Conduct troubleshooting on instruments and record calibration and troubleshooting findings
- Compile basic report on quality
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Perform general admin duties

- Basic understanding of general laboratory and quality procedures
- Basic understanding of SHEQ procedures
- Fault finding
