Cctv Operator

To provide accurate, effective CCTV monitoring.
- To ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is always secure by strict compliance and in accordance with the Security and Operational procedures and code of practice.
- Duties according to the companys established policies and procedures including but not limited to:

- To operate all equipment and cameras and to always comply with the security and operational control room procedures. T
- Monitor view-screens effectively and to take any remedial or immediate action and notification as appropriate to events seen to communicate between other departments in a professional and courteous manner always.
- To record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format and to record these onto any other media as required.
- To produce and maintain continuity of all detailed records or evidential material required in a clear, legible, and accurate format. This includes all saved footage.
- To maintain person integrity and confidentiality of all information obtained within the control room, whether written, verbal or by any other means to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, carry out equipment checks as required and to inform immediately all required personnel of all faults found.
- To ensure the security of the control room and all equipment is always maintained satisfactorily, which include access control of all visitors to the control room.
- To undertake any other duties or perform any other such tasks or duties which the person is reasonably expected to or instructed to undertake.
- In addition to the above you may be required to perform all reasonable duties assigned to you or related to the proper completion of your job tasks.

**Position requirements**:
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Needed:

- Minimum qualification: Matric/Grade 12
- Must be familiar with the operation of CCTV systems (IVMS) Preferably should have some knowledge of security work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous Control Room experience will be an advantage
- Must be able to work under pressure

Compulsory Requirements:

- Matric (Valid National Senior Certificate)
- PSIRA Grade B relevant Qualifications.
- IVMS CCTV training /certificate.
- Code B Valid Driver Licence/ Own Transport.
