The purpose of the Merchandise Planner is to ensure the business presents the best product offering to the right customers to maximize profitability.

**Here's what you expect to be doing in the role**
- Conduct competitor research and understand and interpret trends in the market and our customer base.
- Develop pre-season sales, gross margin, and inventory plans rooted in deep knowledge of our customer behavior.
- Use analytics to drive efficient inventory planning in order to maximize sales and bottom line profitability.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure most effective profits are marketed to the right customers.
- Partner with the product owner to drive automation and system development delivering on the merchandise digitization strategy.
- Partner in developing data strategies and managing product data to enable precision customer thinking.

**A little about who you are**
- Tertiary qualification/degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of Merchandise Planning experience
- Experience in planning têxtiles - Advantageous
