**RCL FOODS** is seeking a **Workshop Assistant** to join our **Foods Division**. The role will be based in Thohoyandou and report to the **Transport Manager**. RCL FOODS is looking for a **Workshop Assistant** to assist mechanics in maintenance and repair of trucks.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist mechanics in maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers
- Upkeep of records as required.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work on generators and other machinery as requested by the Transport Manager
- Ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Ensure that daily and weekly cleaning of the work area is done.
- Carry out any workshop related activities as requested by the Fleet Manager
- Must be willing & able to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Must adhere to health & safety regulations.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric

Mechanical knowledge and experience
