My Client is an internationally renowned leisure and safari operator, offering bespoke, luxury travel solutions to ultra-high nett worth international guests, into Southern Africa.

The South African team is looking at bringing an exceptional field Concierge onboard. This person will be instrumental in driving customer service initiatives in the field, and implementing quality control initiatives with the field teams. The Concierge will have multiple meetings with guests over their stay in the region. A travel component will be a part of the role, in order to ensure the same standards are maintained throughout the Southern African region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day to day interaction with the Field Teams, in all aspects of customer service and quality control.
- Introduce new and innovate experiences for guests on the ground.
- Ensuring that the Field Teams are adhering to all the required Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards.
- Be responsible for all initiatives, reports, and ongoing monitoring related to all operations in the field.
- Quality control initiatives and reporting forms an integral part of the day-to-day activities of the role.
- Ensure that the concierge teams are following correct procedures and are actively enhancing guest stays.
- Ensure that all concierge offices are properly stocked and meet the required standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance to all health and safety aspects.
- Meet and greet guests to ensure that the guests have interactions with you on multiple occasions at different venues on their itinerary, with a heavy focus on the Cape Town, Peninsula, and Winelands regions.
- Ensure that all interactions with guests are reported on.
- Assist with managing supplier relationships, particularly in relation to guests or staff complaints about service levels.
- Problem solving in all aspects of the operations function.
- Assist with all other operations department functions as required from time to time.

**Experience and Knowledge Required**:

- Experience in tourism operations, and fleet management in Southern Africa (Minimum of 5 years of Southern Africa expertise).
- Experience in dealing directly with a team of permanent staff members, freelance staff / guides/ drivers, and tourism service providers.
- Administration experience and proficiencies.
- Customer Service experience.
- Excellent verbal communicator.
- MS Office and Outlook expertise.
- Good administrative skills & attention to detail.
- Organizational, time and task management skills.

**Qualifications**
- Matric
- Tertiary education with preference given to those with a diploma or degree in Tourism
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
