Our client, a leading innovator in the chemical manufacturing industry with a focus on developing high-performance adhesives, is currently seeking a skilled Chemist to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in adhesive technologies and chemical processing, who is passionate about product development and innovation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the formulation and development of new adhesive products and enhance the performance of existing products.
- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to scale up production processes from lab to manufacturing scale.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex chemical processing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of formulations, tests, and trials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and competitive trends in the adhesive industry to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and customers.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in chemical analysis and testing techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, etc.
- Knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Innovative thinking with a focus on developing practical solutions to complex problems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemist role, specifically within the adhesive or chemical processing industry.
- Demonstrated experience in adhesive formulation and product development.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and certifications relevant to the chemical and adhesive industry.
- Proficient in using laboratory software and equipment.
