Maintain and grow the Rectron client base by assisting the Enterprise Server Specialist through

the promoting and selling of Rectron’s Enterprise server range, H3C, and Aten. Promote building

breadth and reaching revenue targets in the D-Link networking brand. By assisting the sales team

and enterprise specialist(s) with solutions and engaging with the client, also when required, to

supply a working demo server model. Having strong technical and troubleshooting skills. Oversee

when and where possible all server builds, guide and assist the assembly team and ensure our

level of service is the best in the region. Assist regions where possible.

**Education/Qualification, Skills and Experience**
- Matric, A+, Server CompTIA, Networking Essentials, relevant internal training
- 2-5 years solutions sales experience within distribution environment

**Skills and Competencies**
- Detailed understanding of turnover and profitability, sales cycle, aged stock, and key products
- Strong technical and business acumen
- A high level of communication skills, both written and oral
- A high level of interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to plan and delegate assignments
- Strong presentational skills
- Thorough knowledge of the vision, mission and strategy development of Rectron
- Networking skills

**Outputs and Responsibilities**
- Identifying new markets, and business opportunities, grow and service existing customers
- Identify client’s markets and design a sales strategy to fit each client's requirements
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
- Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends

**Representation**
- Represent Rectron at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
- Assisting and advising all sales and technical staff of product developments and special
- promotions
- The above applies to RCT, H3C, ATen, D-Link, Intel and Lenovo server

**Relationships**
- Maintain relationships with but not limited to B2B Business Development Manager, Enterprise
- Sever Specialist, Sales Staff
- Provide clients with necessary product technical support and maintain the relationship between
- the client and the service division
- Follow-up with work in progress to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt delivery of goods
- following up and promoting the Rectron service level agreement

**Take steps to ensure**
- Messages are being responded to when not available
- Handles queries, issues, complaints, and requests
- Completes necessary administration i.e. faxed quotes and orders by keeping records
- Attending all relevant product training programs, writing tests and examinations as required, and
- sharing pertinent information to all parties concerned
- Escalate problematic issues to the Server specialist timeously, B2B manager, sales manager as
- well as service managers
- Informing the sales and technical teams of new content uploaded on the intranet where relevant
- Assist with other job-related duties as and when required
- General admin and upkeep of the server dealer base
- Having weekly or bi-monthly meetings with the B2B server team (Internal and Regional)

**Staff Management**
- Assist in seeing that the objective for the server team is achieved (measure and assess the
- performance of the group team quarterly). Add in quality feedback where possible
- Lead, motivate, develop and direct the assembly team, making sure that they are adequately
- equipped to perform their job roles and responsibilities
- Develop a server team strategy along with the server specialist to further improve customer
- satisfaction and experience
- Implement development programs that increase awareness of all products with the server
