Responsibilities
- Lead planning process for area of responsibility and ensures cross-functional consensus is reached on operation demand plans and inventory plans required to support customer service, and revenue objectives.
- Ensure all Planning tools, report, and systems are updated timely and accurately.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders within the production environment to achieve successful supply to customers.
- Ensure Ops and Sales teams is updated on changes in order statuses, and delivery date changes when it is necessitated.
- Identify bottle necks in the production environment, implement or suggest preventative measures, escalate to management when required.
- Always maintain an open line of communication with the Planning group, Leads, Production Managers and Expeditors daily.
- Coordinates preparation of production schedules and material orders.
- Be informed on sales forecasts to determine short
- and medium-term requirements for production resources.
- Be the custodian of sales order execution and ensure all production departments align their schedules and resources according to presented timeframes.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships in Operations environment to maintain a harmonious and proactive working environment.
- Develop and maintain production metrics.
- Any reasonable request by management
- Desired qualification and skills

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- Industrial Engineering qualification or experience will be advantageous.
- Project management qualification or experience will be advantageous.
- Microsoft Office Intermediate
- Syspro or SAP ERP knowledge will be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferably between 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
