Junior Project Manager.

We are looking for a highly energetic individual who will form part of our dynamic team. The competent person will fill the role of a Junior Project Manager / Project Administrator to perform various administrative and project tasks to support our offices. You will assist the Project Leaders in the management of the overall delivery of multiple projects in the Mining and Engineering field, by identifying and planning work items, coordinating project schedules, tracking the progress of projects, and reporting their results with the aim to meet the stated business objectives and benefits, in compliance with all relevant Governance, Risk and Audit requirements.

Knowledge:

- Microsoft Office (essential).
- Knowledge of relevant Project Management software and tools (Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of Project Management lifecycle, from conception to close-out (desirable).
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) (desirable).
- Knowledge of products and services administered by the business unit will be an advantage (desirable)
- Knowledge of products and services administered by the business unit will be an advantage (desirable)*
- Knowledge of the Coal Mining Industry Preferably Underground Coal Mining (desirable)

**Responsibilities**:

- Compile and update Projects on Microsoft Projects
- Composes routine correspondence: read incoming correspondence, answer commonly asked inquiries, and refer other communication to the proper person.
- Handling all clerical duties, including faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files related to projects.
- Update various types of database information.

- Record incoming financial resources on relevant sheets.
- Provide the day-to-day administration of projects.

- Provide some administrative support to the Director, senior team, and/or entity.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years experience in a dedicated project management position (essential)
- Relevant B-degree or Diploma Relevant Project Management Qualification

- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
- Own transport.
- Must reside in or around Pretoria.
- Proficiency with MS Office.

Place of Work: Pretoria

Work of Hours: 08:00 - 16:30.

Age: 20-35 years.

**Salary**: R15 000.00 CTC.

Starting Date: May 2023

Contract Period: 6 Months Option to extend

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Project: 2 years (preferred)
- Coal Mining: 2 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
