The purpose of the Baker is to manufacture yeast-based bakery products to quality standards according to the Bakery manager’s production plans. To carry out any other relevant duties and reasonable instructions as required.
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:
Implement cyclical production plans
Ensure correct products in correct quantities available at the correct time of day or week
Maintain the production chain as set out by bakery manager / supervisor
Control stock
Control ingredients used in baking yeast-based products
POS and pricing
Hygiene and housekeeping
Customer service
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Aliwal North, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- High School (matric) (required)
**Experience**:
- Baking: 2 years (required)
- working at a retail bakery: 2 years (required)
