IT Graduate

**POSITION: IT GRADUATE**

**LOCATION: BENONI**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The IT Graduate position is designed for recent graduates to gain experience in the IT field. The role focuses on providing technical support, assisting with system maintenance, and contributing to various IT Projects. This position aims to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in Information Technology.

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with the set-up, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as necessary
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and assist with procurement
- Assist in network monitoring and maintenance tasks.
- Document and update IT procedures and user manuals

Participate in IT Projects and Initiatives as required

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows and/ or Linux operating systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

**MINIMUM EXPERIENCE**
- Experience with customer service or technical support is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL framework or other IT service management methodologies.
- Have a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
