**Job Advert Summary**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- SAP ABAP Certification
- National Diploma in Information Systems (NQF Level 6)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (NQF Level 7)
- Exposure to ITIL framework is advantageous
- Coding experience in any relevant programming language is advantageous

**6-8 years experience in**:

- Relevant SAP ABAP Development on ERP Central Component (ECC) and S/4HANA in a similar role
- Business design, functional and technical specifications (hands on)
- Application and Integration Architecture
- BAPI, IDOC/ALE, ALV, SAP Script, Smart Forms, RFC, ABAP objects, Enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversion, LSMW and dialog programs
- Workflow

**Special Requirements**
- Ability and willingness to travel when required
- Ability to provide after-hours support as required

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**SAP System Applications**
- Carry out go-live preparation
- Conduct unit testing once solution is completed together with the functional specialist
- Execute the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
- Identify areas for modification or optimisation to existing programmes and developing these modifications
- Identify problems and resolve by means of skills such as code debugging
- Produce clean efficient code and programmes based on business specifications
- Review business specifications and requirements and analyse and interpret business requests into a functional design
- Troubleshoot issues for the system and provide support to internal end users

**Stakeholder Management and Business Partnerships**
- Collaborate with functional specialists to analyse and come up with technical solutions
- Collaborate with other parties to determine requirements for future changes to tools and tools/capabilities
- Collaborate and coordinate with Basis team and other SAP development team
- Provide post go-live support to end users
