**What are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

- Must be SACE registered
- **Must have at least 2 years experience in education at FET Phase, preferably as a lecturer at a private or TVET college**:

- **Must have an NQF level 7 qualification (Degree and/or PGCE)**:

- **Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)**:

- **Driver’s License**:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of remote learning and experience in online teaching
- Ability to create teaching material for use on a digital platform

**The responsibilities are**:
**Corporate**

You will familiarize yourself with and maintain and abide by all the policies and regulations of the Curro Holdings Private College, including but not restricted to:

- The Curro Holdings Ltd Code of Conduct.
- All Curro Holdings Ltd HR policies.
- All Curro Holdings Private College specific policies and procedures.
- Attend workshops, training, seminars, and conferences as and when requested to do so.

**Learning and Teaching**
- Plan and execute all learning, teaching and classroom activities at the campuses of Curro Holdings Private College as described in your letter of appointment. This includes, inter alia:

- Plan and implement the values and principles as outlined in the Teaching and Learning policies.

**Prepare weekly and termly lesson and topic plans.**
- Teach in a learner-centered classroom where the classroom culture dictates the learning ethos.
- Approach teaching and learning with an open mind by actively seeking ways to motivate and engage the learners.
- Establish an environment of learning where the learner makes connections to create new knowledge and meaning.
- Utilize technologies and other resources effectively to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Manage the learning environment in line with the Curro Code of Conduct.
- Invigilate internal and external examinations.
- Manage and assure recordkeeping including Portfolios of Evidence.

**Plan and execute all assessment and moderation activities at the campuses of Curro Holdings Private College as described in your letter of appointment. This includes, inter alia**:

- Implement all Curro and departmental policies and procedures.
- Set common tasks, assignments, projects, practical and internal examination assessments.
- Analyze and interpret the learners’ results for academic improvement.
- Implement the pre
- and post
- moderation processes as per the Curro and departmental policies.

**Actively take part in the college learner support program. This includes, inter alia**:

- Compile and implement a learner support program inclusive of the developmental needs of all the learners.
- Identify the learners’ barriers to learning and address it accordingly.
- Provide individual and group learner support as and when needed.
- Keep extensive records of all learner support activities.

**Research and development.**
- Develop online learning material and content, which will be made available to all CHPC learners and educators.
- Research developments in your field of expertise and adapt learning content and materials accordingly.
- Develop relationships with industry and actively source workplace learning opportunities for CHPC learners.
