Handyman (Atlantis)

To support maintenance activities on all buildings and equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all weekly maintenance as per the planned schedule for buildings
- Paint buildings
- Perform all welding repairs
- Perform repairs on facilities' minor breakdowns
- Ensure plant room; work areas are kept in a neat and clean condition
- Ensure that the workshop tools and cupboards are neat, clean, and tidy
- Maintain a high standard of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the factory as per SOP
- Follow the correct security procedures in the department
- Wear the correct PPE at all times
- To perform stand-in boiler attendant duties to operate high pressure boilers (coal and oil) and respond to out-of-spec indicators.
- Grade 10 certificate or equivalent, preferably Grade 12
- A completed Safety Course would be advantageous
- Able to work with tools and power tools
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding, basic fitting, building maintenance, pipe fitting, painting and carpentry
- Brick laying, building & roofing experience is advantageous
- Good communication, planning, organizational & time management skills
- High level of accuracy & stress tolerance
