**MAIN PURPOSE**:
To develop product manuals, how-to guides, website help sections, journal articles, and other content that distills technical information with ease and clarity to support buying decisions, users, the sales function and ultimately revenue generation.

**Areas of responsibility**
- Work closely with Support to create succinct and user-friendly FAQs
- Support the marketing strategy with customer stories, blogs, advertorials, press releases and other copywriting for use across all channels of a world class standard.
- Write copy for videos (tutorials, demonstrations, advertising, company image, interviews and more).
- Improve and elevate the company’s public image through all content.
- Research, write, edit and revise technical content that is both engaging and accessible to user personas with both technical and non technical backgrounds.
- Communicate complex concepts and information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
- Consider target audience (revenue generating audience) and brand voice throughout all content creation and adhere to brand guidelines for all published content.
- Create and maintain the information architecture and revision control.
- Fact-check all information in the content being produced and ensure grammar and spelling are perfect.
- Follow a committee review and approval process before publishing final content.
- Meet deadlines in content creation and marketing plans.

- Ability to confidently write about products of a technical nature, making concepts easy to understand and easily digestible for the reader
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex content.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools
- Project management skills to see the whole creative process, from inception to deployment
- Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts
- Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
- Ability to interrogate a copy brief and craft a communication that is on-brief, clear, concise and factually correct
- Clear thinker who is able to communicate important concepts in a clear manner
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
- Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practises
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
- Time management and adherence to tight deadlines
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Software Engineering, Computer Science,
- At least 4 years professional experience in Technical Writing, Teaching, Curriculum Development or Scientific Publication
- Knowledge and experience working with coding and scripting languages,analytical platforms such as googleanalytics/ open web analytics as well as
- 5yrs+ of B2B content development, planning and creation (international experience a plus)
- Excellent portfolio of work

- Bachelors (preferred)
