Jnr Draughtsman

**Requirements**:

- Draughting Qualification - MDDOP or similar
- Autodesk Autocad and Inventor - essential
- 2-5 years experience
- Sheet metal experience - preferred
- Shelving and or racking industry experience - advantageous

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reports on progress and drawing completion
- Assists with obtaining customer approval on drawings
- Produces production ready drawings
- Ensures timely completion of all allocated projects
- Provides clear communication about any variations or amendments to plans
- Complies with project status updates
- Coordinates resolution of production problems
- Ensures conformance to customer specifications, company standards as well as other regulation requirements
- Manages and mentors junior draughtsman
- Carries out the drafting requirements for new or existing projects
- Prepares technical drawings and plans to be used in the production and construction of joinery and steel components for the shopfitting industry
- Drafts plans and detailed drawings for structures/ products
- Reviews rough sketches, drawings and other specifications
- Explains drawings to sales and production teams and provide adjustments as necessary
