We are looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager for Izotcha, South Coast.

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and the final consumer.

In this role the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will be involved in the production planning, managing inventory and ensuring that the final product reaches the right customer at the right time. The key purpose of this role is to see that the needs of the business and customers are met.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a B. Com (Supply Chain Management) or equivalent qualification
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in managing a team, within a business environment
- Advanced Excel - essential
- Sage Evolution, Meat Matrix, Maintenance Connect, Master fuel would be beneficial
- Comprehensive understanding of systems and processes
- Driver’s License and Own Vehicle - essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and update the company’s supply chain strategy
- Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Evaluate and report on KPIs
- Manage logistics to make sure they run smoothly and is operating efficiently. (This includes managing route plans, Delivery Schedules, Delivery Sizes, Packing Efficiencies, Fuel Consumption, driver training etc)
- Manage the Dispatch, which includes stock control of finished goods. Including but not limited to, ensuring optimum stock levels, stock rotation, stock losses and spoilage, stock takes
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Train and guide employees
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Maintain Policies and Procedures relating to dispatch, fleet, procurement and stores
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
