- (Market related, Negotiable)- A well-established engineering company in the mineral processing industry based on the East Rand is looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team.

**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- A relevant Draughting qualification is essential for this role.
- 5 - 10 years’ experience within a similar position.
- Advanced knowledge of 3D CAD Software such as Inventor (preferred).
- Experience in the design of Rotating Equipment, Crushers, Vibrating equipment; and other dynamic equipment would be advantageous.
- Experience with pressure vessels, clarifiers/thickeners, mining equipment, earth moving equipment would be advantageous.
- Integral interworking of drives, shafts, gears, bearings, plumber blocks, contact rollers would be advantageous.
- Added experience in sealing systems would be advantageous.
- Site experience in measuring equipment and troubleshooting for the purpose of designing fit-for-purpose solutions.
- High attention to detail a must.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Be self-motivated and have good time management.
- Be highly adaptable.
- Strong references are mandatory.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence with own transport.
- Modelling, assemblies and detail drawings of OEM equipment.
- Reviewing of drawings done by junior draughtsmen.
- Site measurements of equipment, chute work, and structures.
- Following Engineering processes based on global best practices and relevant international standards.
- Needs analysis and assisting with queries (Drawing and design information).
- Following Drawing Office Procedure in execution of work.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, clients and sub-contractors.
- Working strictly according to deadlines as agreed with managers.
- Creating and maintaining product specific design and drawing information.
- Developing detailed designs and specifications of products.
