Animal Health Technician/ehs Officer mpumalanga

Review the site's compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Maintain and improve the online and paper record systems related to EHS activities.

Conduct Risk Assessments, Accident investigations, and inspections.

Train fellow employees on EHS matters.

Supportive role for the site GMR-2.

Ensure that contractors comply with site requirements, including assisting them in preparing safety files.

**Educational Requirements**:
Degree in Animal Health

National Diploma (or higher) in Health & Safety is preferred, but other professionals with certificates of training in EHS may be considered.

Good computer literacy, including MS Word and MS Excel.

**Experience Required**:
At least 3 years of experience taking responsibility for EHS programs.

Thorough knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.

Experience in a parasitic research environment will be considered advantageous.

**Physical Requirements**:
Good eyesight.

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Ability to inspect construction sites.

**Personality Requirements**:
A good communicator with strong integrity.

Good organisational skills.

Good attention to detail.
