Pharmacist

A well-established independent community pharmacy in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is in search of a registered pharmacist with one to two years' experience post qualification.

The business is well respected in the community, servicing clients with high expectations expecting professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications** - BPharm and SAPC registered with relevant experience.

**Experience and Knowledge**
- Proven experience as a pharmacist.
- Familiar with all tasks and responsibilities expected of a pharmacist per the SAPC.
- Ability to work as an individual and part of a team.
- Be comfortable dealing with clients in a busy retail environment.
- Propharm experience is an advantage.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Comfortable in a community pharmacy environment, understanding pharmacological principles, drug interactions, dosages and general pharmaceutical care.
- SAPC Regulatory compliance
- Decision-making skills as an individual and part of a dynamic team.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and established working protocols.
- Patient focused.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication.
- Computer literate e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Professional, ethical, well presented and focused.

**Specific Requirements**:

- Good health and be able to cope with retail working conditions.
- Clear criminal record
- Contactable references

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

License/Certification:

- Registration as a Pharmacist with the SAPC (required)
