Lodge Anchor

**Area Location /: Hoedspruit, Limpopo**

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- The core function of the lodge anchor is to host the guest and manage all aspects of them to maximize guest delight
- Valid RSA Driver's License
- Exceptional Guest Relations skills
- Ability to manage staff
- Understanding and ability to manage the different departments
- Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
- Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a Big 5 reserve and 4-star lodge necessary
- ResRequest experience will be beneficial

**Package**:

- Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references

**Responsibilities**:
**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge
- Managing, Overseeing Staff with the General Manager
- Staff training and development
- Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
- Hosting Duties
- Allocation of Airport Transfers
- Little paws program
- Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
- Reporting to General manager, Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office

**Financial**:

- Stock control and stock takes
- Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures

**Rooms Division**:

- Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD and General Manager
- Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically
- Food and Beverage and Kitchen
- Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard
- Assist with Events planning and execution
- Assist with menu planning and cost control
