QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12
- Mechanic/Electric quailification.
- Drivers licence essential.
- Previous tanker experience essential.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Plan daily tasks as per job card and inform workshop supervisor of progress.
- Allocate tasks to staff under your control as set out in the job cards.
- Order required components from stores as per job card.
- Ensure quality inspections are conducted between various phases of work.
- Conduct continious risk assessments.
- Strip suspension to complete repairs as per job card.
- Install and repair brakes systems.
- Assist with electrical and mechanic duties when required.
- Assemble suspension once work is complete.
- Guide and trian employees under your control to ensure that work completed complies with SHEQ standards.
- Comply with the requirements of section 14(c) of the OHS Act.
