Site Foreman

Our client is looking for a Site Foreman to join their team.

A Site Foreman monitors the progress and quality of work on site and ensures compliance with Safety regulations and procedures. The Site Foreman manages the teams on Site, coach the team members on Site with regards to Safety practices and promote a safety culture. The Site Foreman evaluates the teams work performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enforce compliance with MHSA & regulations standards.
- Provide control, management and direct the team.
- Always maintain the area of your responsibility in a safe manner.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for work to be carried out.
- Ensure standards and procedures are adhered to according to Code of Practice.
- Identify hazards and assess the risk within the work area.
- Supervise and guide all employees in your area of responsibilities.
- Ensure that all legal documents are filled out regular and signed off.
- Report any incident or accident immediately.
- Facilitate positive work culture and continual improvement.
- Obtaining of works orders / site instructions per site work.
- Client relations & interforce.
- Preparation of quotations for work orders.
- Risk assessment & method statements (Reading studies).

- Weekly VFL inspections (Visible Field Leadership).

**Qualifications**:

- 5 Years Artisan experience.
- 2 Years Supervisory experience.
- Experience in construction and heavy fabrication awareness (project size dependent).
- Matric.
- Boilermaker / Fitter with Modules.
