Autocad Draughtsman

We are currently seeking a skilled Draughtsman proficient in AutoCAD to join our client's team. As a Draughtsman specializing in balustrade design, you will be instrumental in transforming conceptual designs into detailed drawings for the fabrication and installation of various balustrade systems. You'll collaborate closely with the design team, project managers, and production staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the design process.
- Utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed drawings and plans for stainless steel, aluminium, and glass balustrades, including related components like handrails and staircases.
- Interpret architectural and engineering specifications to create accurate fabrication drawings.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to grasp project requirements and constraints.
- Conduct site visits and measurements as necessary to gather essential information for drafting.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations in all drawings.
- Review and amend drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and quality control assessments.
- Coordinate closely with production teams to support the manufacturing and installation process.
- Stay updated on AutoCAD software advancements and industry best practices to enhance drafting efficiency and quality.
