IT Technician

**Linkfields Innovations** is Hiring we are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Technician to join our dynamic IT team and contribute to the success of our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to end-users in person, over the phone, or through remote assistance.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure efficient operation of the organization's IT systems.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
- Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, equipment, and software licenses.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements and recommend upgrades or improvements to existing systems.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
- Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT-related topics.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Associate's degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Computer Science).
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office suite.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting principles, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT issues.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar, is a plus.
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
