Community Ambassador

An exciting opportunity exists for a Community Ambassador to join our team in Camps Bay.

The Community Ambassador is responsible for the promotion and sales of community memberships, as well as monitoring projects under Village N Life, including (but not limited to) Leisure Club, Sandy B, Gym, Padel, sporting events and Spa. Responsible for the overall well-being of members and property partners.

**Qualification and Experience**
- Hospitality Management Diploma OR Marketing OR experience in brand building and management
- At least 2 years experience in hospitality / events or Project Management
- High level of communication, spoken, written, in person and online
- Target Driven
- Sales Driven
- Strong community presence
- Business alignment

**Duties and responsibilities**

**Community Sales and Marketing program**
- Continually evaluate and update Leisure Club members to value propositions
- Ensure all communications and sales channels drive Leisure Club members to sign up
- Manage the activity calendar for marketing across all channels:

- Instagram
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- Google Ads
- Ensure return and retention strategies are in place to keep Leisure Club members active
- Develop strategic special offers as the business requires, and ensure timely delivery of direct marketing offers to the Leisure Club and total database

**Database Management**
- Ensure systems are in place to maintain the Leisure Club and guest CRM database in OPERA
- Ensure databases are regularly scrubbed and kept clean
- Monitoring of the location's communications channels
- Continuous communication to the members of events / special offers
- Be the point of contact for all member communications
- Administer requirements for the members renewal, new membership or membership termination

**Reporting and performance**
- Ensure Leisure club sign on and sales performance is reported and managed
- Design and implement incentives to maximise Leisure Club sign on
- Attend all Leisure Club member events, and host guests
- Managed all member related queries
- Ensure delivery standards are met, particularly in relation to overall well-being of members and property partners

**Member service**
- Ensure quality member relations and resolve escalated queries
- Ensure all new members are aware of all the community offers, and that it is communicated
- Ensure delivery standards are met, particularly in relation to overall well-being of members and property partners
- Maintain good relationships with all members and platform partners
