**Description**:
The South African National Parks seeks to appoint two (2) independent and suitably qualified individuals to serve as external members of the ICT Steering Committee for a period of three (3) years.

The external members of the ICT Steering Committee will be remunerated in line with the National Treasury rates.

Applicants in possession of foreign qualifications are to submit evaluated results by the South African Qualification Authority.

**Requirements**:

- Report writing and presentation skill
- A minimum of an Honours degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
- A post-graduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Over 10 years experience in leading and executing IT projects (preferably at senior management or executive level).
- Experience in the implementation of large, complex, and/or innovative transformational initiatives.
- Extensive experience in IT delivery and operations management and strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Working knowledge of software engineering best practices and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management.
- IT governance leadership and risk management skills.
- Knowledge and Experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise architecture and information management methodologies.
- Solid working knowledge of current security protocols and threats, cybersecurity, privacy, and Protection of Personal Information Act.
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
- Understanding of public sector ICT regulatory frameworks.
